Excellent - nice change from the previous. still some gimmicks but much less, and many twists. The best of the series so far. Ho, and if you wonder why I keep on reading those when obviously I don't like them that much, it's just that the action is set in the SF bay area. So reading is an opportunity to remember what the place looks like and the fun time I had there :-)

Confirms what I was saying: pretty good criminal investigation, but structure is always the same. Not going to say anything not to spoil it but it's clearly a framework -always the same. It's not bad as such, but if you happen to read them all in sequence as I do, it is a bit tedious. Can't help thinking how ok, now is the time this happens. lets skim that and go back to the real stuff. Ho well. easy reading.

Excellent livre
4 stars

Just the length of my trip. Quite interresting witness account of what life was in east Germany via friend exchange. Easy reading but fascinating all the same, specially the reproduction of the author's STASI file at the end of the book !!! Comes with a URL with the links to the DDR rock on the internet. Definitely worth reading !!!

Yet another nice mystery. As you may have noticed i'm (re)reading a whole batch of Agatha Christie at the moment. It is simply because they were written around 1920 and are surfacing in my usual channels since in many countries copyright expire after 100 years. Expect many more in a near future.

Dangereux
4 stars
