As much as the first book was captivating, this one feels disappointing. It's like taking a book to describe the problem and then give the answer in a couple of lines. Must read if you have read the Bowl, but.... Or maybe it's just me :-)

Very interesting and reminiscent of the Rama saga by A.C. Clarke. The end of book one is just that, you need book 2 for answers (I hope !!!)
