@Tak@reading.taks.garden I've just finished ch1 and I'm wondering how either Sean or the narrator will process Riya's objections, because she's not wrong, and the narrator voice is clearly sympathetic too. But I could also see myself having stumbled into Sean's role, even as so far the book is priming me to be critical of that.
Also hoping Mandelo can cut down the lecturing through characters' voices, but hopefully that's just been a bit frontloaded.
