It's a novel that starts off right in the centre of the "gimmick" and doesn't hand hold. My YouTube-addled brain isn't coping with it well because I'm having difficulty understanding what the protagonist is experiencing. I'm going to keep going and see if it improves.

@screenbeard I must take another crack at this one. I enjoyed what I read, but was lacking in time and didn't finish.
