@futzle This is one of my favourite Hopepunk/Hopecore/Solarpunk novels! It may lack in good editing, but it makes up for it with thoughtful storytelling.
Editing...I'm old enough to remember when publishers marketed books to the public--not just the booksellers, they had skilled editors--rather than relying on computer programs, and they gave an author as much as 20% of list price in royalties, where I hear that today they give authors payments as low as 5%. I heard that payments were once EVEN HIGHER before I came onto the scene. I'm surprised publishing continues to exist under current circumstances. I'm hoping Book Wyrm is helping to warm up the independent scene.
