This was, as usual, a riveting read, equivalent to a typical Agatha Christie for surprises at the big reveal. Interesting that the first person thanked in the Acknowledgements is the author's therapist. Author says it was an uncomfortable book to write and this reader guesses that the plural adopted sons in the story might be related to one of the issues worked through.
Definitely worth recommending to visitors of London.
Good writing, but end puzzled me some. Satire delicious, cads, bounders, and "crazy women" abound.

A librarian member of the regional library's reader advisory team enthusiastically recommended, practically raved, about this. I had the idea it was smart, and funny. It was tedious and predictable. I've read a lot of mysteries. This didn't move the needle on my fun-o-meter.
