Yeah, this one wasn't great. Wouldn't recommend it. The writing is unpolished, the story goes on too long, and the perpetual gaslighting of the main character really got on my nerves.
Ah, more clarity. It's horror, and the tentacles are a reference to the Deep Ones. Maybe not steampunk, just Edwardian.
