Lea finished reading Paladin of Souls by Lois McMaster Bujold
Excellent book, recommended (#2 in series, read Curse of Chalidon first for background material, although that is also recommended)
Lea finished reading The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold
The first quarter of this was ok and I was just following along, wondering if it would grab me when suddenly the main character (redacted) and I was completely hooked and had trouble putting it down! As with all the author’s works, recommended!
Lea finished reading Ep.#1 - "Aurora : CV-01" by Ryk Brown
Well, surprising no one, this wasn’t very good. The plot line was a bit predictable, yet underdone, the writing was only ok and I found it really irritating that all but one of the non lead characters were female. Apparently there are like 16 books in series. That’ll be “no” from me
Lea finished reading Forest of Memory by Mary Robinette Kowal
Lea finished reading Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell by Kate Reading
Lea reviewed The Original by Brandon Sanderson
Thought provoking work

I was disappointed that this turned out to be so short - novella - as I enjoyed it a lot. Imagine a world where nanites have made us all rich, but at the cost of taking away all the difficulties of life that keep us interested. Some have rebelled against this, and in the midst of all that, there has been a murder, and a young woman must figure out why she did it. (no, thats not a typo!) If Sanderson and Kowal collaborate again, I will be reading it!
