Book is cool. Seems like G. Spencer-Brown got the idea from his brother, and then after writing the book, made a claim he was going to solve the 4 color map theorem and partied a lot.

It's trying to talk about something so simple that we don't usually think deeply about it, but if you actually do, like G. Spencer-Brown's brother did, you get some surprising new thoughts.

moral of the story is pursue that weird interest and have your brother or someone else write it down
