A quick, engaging introduction to John Lewis's early life, the SNCC, and the events leading up to the march from Selma to Montgomery. I appreciate getting Lewis's perspective on events. It helps me remember that History is not an abstract thing, but something that people are still participating in.

I only track books that I read for pleasure, mostly SF/Fantasy. I've fallen out of the habit of actually writing reviews beyond giving a star rating. It would be nice to get back into that habit.

Interesting format. Read like a series of episodes of a TV series, where a problem is introduced and then wrapped up by the end of the hour. My problem was that the characters are all too nice. The intra-crew tension that would have led to interesting interactions was missing.
