I only track books that I read for pleasure, mostly SF/Fantasy. I've fallen out of the habit of actually writing reviews beyond giving a star rating. It would be nice to get back into that habit.

Lots of good points. Hard to read as a book. I think it would have worked better for me if I'd read it as the original blog posts, articles, etc. I may have to try interleaving sections of collections like this with other things, so each short essay has time to marinate before the next topic switch.

It struck me as I finished that this book would be the opening chapter of a modern thriller. We expect so much more action packed into our fiction these days!

The serial-style writing, where each chapter reminded you of what had come before made it a good book to read as I was going to sleep. Missed a detail? No worries.
