I loved the spice of paranormal that made this otherwise very standard contemporary romance fun.

I didn't super duper love the actual romance, but I did really like all of the characters. August's roommates are truly iconic. I liked when it got a bit more schemey (not a typo lol) and they were investigating stuff, but it was very slow. I think the book was a tad overlong for me, which I also said about RWaRB (which I enjoyed slightly more tbh). I was glad the relationship had time to grow, but I needed slightly less fluff and more substance. Maybe that's just a me problem though

I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a cosy queer read
