ApparentParadox finished reading Born This Way by Macy Blake
Quick comfort re-read.
GWM living in Oregon.I used to love books that would really stretch me, but lately I've needed more solace from the books that I read.
My ratings are as follows: * 5 stars: it's truly a great book, and I'll want to re-read it again and again. * 4 stars: it's a good book, and I enjoyed reading it. I'll probably re-read it. * 3 stars: It's a fine book, just not special. I may re-read it if I'm looking to just relax and not have to think, but I would probably pick up a new book instead. * 2 stars: I finished it, but might have given up if I were in a different mood. * 1 star: I didn't enjoy the book and probably didn't finish it. I wouldn't blanketly recommend against it, because it might speak to someone else.

A fast, fun read.
This is a fun read. I recommend it to teens and to people who like to read YA fiction.
My Kindle Unlimited subscription ended before I finished this. It was an OK book. Maybe I'll check it out if I start Kindle Unlimited again.

My kindle unlimited subscription is ending, and this book just wasn't grabbing me.

Re-read this. It's an OK book, but not one of the best of the series.

I really liked the characters in this book. They had depth, and they were people I would want as friends.
The initial "get drunk married" is a bit far-fetched, but given that, the rest of the book flows nicely.

Mary Rundle: Chosen One
I think I’m done with this series. The author keeps adding new characters with each book, and doesn’t really ever get rid of characters, so there is often a bewildering amount of info you have to keep track of.
This was billed as a paranormal cozy mystery, but there is really very little paranormal in it, and none of the paranormal is directly related to the story! It was a fine book, just nothing special.
