I wish the cooking show aspect had been a bit more present and I wish the book had been a bit more cohesive overall. Most of the book was about their developing relationship but by the time we got 3/4 of the way through all this other stuff was packed in and although some people might have appreciated those conversations, it didn't really work for me.

I won't take off any more points because for the most part it's a fine adult contemporary romance. Nothing that blew me away but I didn't have a bad time reading it either, and I'll admit that I struggle to find romance books I enjoy.
