Elska Bee reviewed Paper Girls, Vol. 2 by Brian K. Vaughan
Review of 'Paper Girls, Vol. 2' on 'Goodreads'
I have a pretty loose grasp on what is going on, which is enough for someone like me to not give up yet, but hopefully it finds some somewhat solid ground in the next volume or so.
Love the concept of girls from '88 rocking up in 2016 and bewildered by how much things have changed, it was kind of funny. I caught a few moments of the show in passing and even from what little I saw I know the show massively deviated form the graphic novels in several ways so I'm glad I'm reading it first. Guess they wanted to make it more straightforward and less confusing, but the character interactions in this seem to be a lot more wholesome and heart-warming.
Curious to see where the story goes from here because so far it's a wild and slightly bumpy ride.
