Awesome entry into the universe

My only complaint about this book was that it was too short. I'm now going back to reread the entire series. Wonderful characters as always, excellent plot and dialogue, great ending to wrap things up. If you haven't experienced this universe, pick up a copy of "Old Man's War". It's the first book in the series and very approachable and fun to read.

I’ve really enjoyed re-reading all the Francis books in order. This is a pretty well laid out Sid Halley book that hits all the required notes and keeps things moving at a good pace. Nice reveal on the bad guy and some good personal growth for Sid.

Didn’t have much of a mystery to solve and again spent too much time investigating inside the hero’s head. Some good characters regardless though. Also interesting the dual timelines.
