I read this due to how much I like the TV Show. Wasn’t disappointed. There are some differences of course but the bones are the same. Good characters, good plot twist, and good action sequences. Hopefully this quality keeps up for the rest of the series.

Hopefully the next book will finally see the end of M. This one was pretty good with some nice plot twists but I’d like to go back to just ordinary serial killers for the next book!
Loved the change of author and viewpoint. Small nitpick with the plot though, at one point characters are arguing about whether to institute martial law, seems like the continuity editor forgot about a previous Alex cross book that involved martial law being invoked…
Good to see the Bree character getting more page time but it was almost inevitable that her case would cross over with Cross. Would be nice to see some final resolution of the interminable bad guy in the next book though…

My favourite series from Kory and this is a great novel in it. Don’t start with this book, start with the first one, Shadows in the Water.
Wondering the world and some wilderness but still the ever present bad guy keeps on hanging around. Would be nice to get the series to go back to it’s roots of just chasing one or two bad guys and catching them in the same book.
Just keeps on ticking along, good plot twists at times in this one also.
