Excellent second book in the Will Trent series

The second season of the show was based on this book so I had a good idea of where things were going. Didn’t impact the enjoyment of reading it though. Karen does a great job with characters and background so you end up feeling involved in the story.

Lovely first book in the Will Trent series

I read this due to how much I like the TV Show. Wasn’t disappointed. There are some differences of course but the bones are the same. Good characters, good plot twist, and good action sequences. Hopefully this quality keeps up for the rest of the series.

Loved the change of author and viewpoint. Small nitpick with the plot though, at one point characters are arguing about whether to institute martial law, seems like the continuity editor forgot about a previous Alex cross book that involved martial law being invoked…
