Darker than other books

Still good to see the characters grow and the story had some good twists. Very dark overall and with unresolved characters at the end hinting to maybe revisiting the topic in a later book.

Excellent telling of more back story

It’s an interesting decision the TV show made to not include Sara as a character as she is such a critical part of the Will Trent universe. Good to finally get closure on her tragic back story and a lovely twist in the end of the who dunnit.
