Dos mitades opuestas

Por primera vez en como 13 años de usar Goodreads y ahora BookWyrm, me tomé un recreo de escribir "reseñas" (más bien impresiones) de libros leídos. Como resultado, escribo esto muchos meses después de leerlo. Así que solo voy a mencionar lo que más recuerdo: la impresión general que me dejó.

Una primera mitad llena de recapitulaciones y repeticiones que me aburrió como nunca durante la lectura de esta saga. Una segunda mitad que por primera vez me enganchó verdaderamente con La Torre Oscura. El primer libro estuvo ok, el segundo tuvo sus momentos entretenidos (creo que las historias de fantasías de portales competentemente escritas, especialmente en lo de mostrar contrastes, siempre han sido un poco una debilidad mía). La segunda mitad de este libro es la que me ha dado ganas de terminar la saga, después de que la primera casi me hace abandonarla.
