Interesting concept, and almost a good book at points. But, ultimately, it felt like two separate books rammed into one, and the main story felt like flimsy, rushed and ended cheaply (and made for really bad trans rep). The more interesting story - about the historical Mary Shelley, wasn’t explored in the depth it deserved.
