It is the second novel in Leckie's "Imperial Radch" space opera trilogy, which began with Ancillary Justice (2013) and ended with Ancillary Mercy (2015). I really like the politics and the interpersonal drama of this distant future space opera
... And this novel, the second, doors much less with the collective first person, and so would actual be much easier to stage as theater
But the first book would be a better opera
