The dead astronaut

This story was first published in May 1968 in Playboy. It is about a husband and wife who are waiting for the return of a capsule with a dead American astronaut inside.

The astronaut had been up there for fifteen years, but there have been changes in U.S. space policy and the area around the Kennedy Space Center is now abandoned.
